Hey, my name is Lydia Bielen and I am an American model now based in Europe!
Asides from modeling, I am very passionate about my writing career. I am currently working on a novel about love, death, and ayahuasca. It also focuses on the healing properties of plant medicine that I encountered on my journey through the jungle in Peru, and why it is so important that we love and protect the great life force that is the Amazon Rainforest! I never really understood just how much goes into writing a book- it’s a very emotional experience reliving the major events and life lessons that I wrote about. Everyday of writing this novel has challenged and pushed me as a writer, and I’m so thankful to have this opportunity to share my story!
I love writing about my own real life experiences as well as expressing my feelings through poetry. Another project that I’m working on is publishing a collection of poems that I began writing at age 15.
At this time in my life I’m very focused on practicing meditation daily. Meditation has helped me to become more aware, understanding, empathetic, and just an all-around happier and better person. I’m very open minded when it comes to spirituality. I love everything from crystals and tarot cards to reiki healing! I was surrounded by these beautiful things since my childhood, with my grandmother being a Reiki master & very experienced in chakra healing. 🙂
I also love practicing self-love and a healthy lifestyle! Quarantine has really opened me up to focusing on bettering myself both physically and mentally which I am so grateful for.
In my free time I love to read about philosophy, spirituality or romance, draw, paint, exercise, go horseback riding, swimming in the ocean, skateboarding or hiking. I have spent a lot of my time over the past 3 years traveling the world. I have now seen over 30 countries which I almost can’t believe when I think back on the small town I come from! I am so thankful for the experiences and lessons life has given me!
